My proposal is based on the initial investigation, research, studies, and facts of the wind phenomena in this particular area of Barcelona. Spain is the world’s fourth biggest producer of wind power with an installed capacity of more than 16740 MW (2008); I developed this study in three different scales and stages that go up to 20 years of continuous wind developing. My proposals also focus on the developing of the ‘wind wall’ as a new urban alternative, and its particular elements that produce energy through wind.

After several visits to the area of study, it was noticeable that the wind condition was a strong natural element to be taken into account, and therefore to be analyzed. The strength of the wind is predominant on the hills of the mountains, and it can be used to develop new strategies of ‘green’ and renewable power.
