After  a week long Research Studio, conducted by Michel Rojkind and Alberto  Villarreal the student Emergent Territories have presented their  proposals focused on innovation and strategic system. Each proposal is  connecting the use of renewed energy sources to the new mobility system  in a strategic part of the city. The urban scale and small scale come  together, through the real models the students tested their smart ideas.</p>

Alberto Villarreal is a Mexico City based industrial designer with over 10 years of international experience. Characterized by a diverse portfolio of projects, his work spans a variety of industries and products such as: sports equipment, private and public transportation, furniture, toys, consumer electronics, high-tech medical devices and appropriate technology. Some of previous involvements include: Adidas, Nike, Hewlett Packard, SanDisk, Pantech, Konica-Minolta, Mercedes-Benz and LeapFrog.</p>
