THE BATHotel. Studio II_ Self-Sufficient Buildings

For this assignment I used two definitions of GRASSHOPPER as a tool for the developing of my studio project.

Since the proposal is about the deformation of the surfaces in order to generate, contain, and stretch spaces (which is understood as the tectonics of the water) is directly linked with the setting of the program in the building. In this way, the surfaces were set up in Rhino to be transformed into a mesh in order to apply the gradients component, relating the min. and max points (according to Z) with the color. This tools were helpful in the study of the definition of program of this surfaces according with the “topography”.

In the second definition, one surface and geometry were set up in order to generate a sporph that varies according with the deformations of shape .
