Today, day 3 of the Global Summer School, the Analysis phase of the GSSBCN continued with Spyros Stravodavris, using tools to assess the solar potential of the site and identifying the optimum areas for the installation of solar renewables to meet energy demands, through the development of a feasibility study.

In the evening, we were joined by Vicente Guallart, Chief architect of the City Council of Barcelona and one of the founders of IAAC, who presented his vision of the Next City, or more accurately the next Barcelona: Barcelona 5.0. The lecture was followed by a discussion with Vicente, the students of the Global Summer School, and IaaC Master Program Director Areti Markopoulou.
