Apart from producing electricity from renewable energy for immediate use in the outdoor space, the Wind Canopy is a structure that is close to the people.

With the idea of having a vertical wind capturing structure to maximize wind capture from various directions in collaboration with a productive gear system that multiplies electricity production, we have been working on different material, form, and scale in order to create an efficient yet simple structure, so that it gives people an impression of a device that is achievable by making your own, and even putting it back in  your own backyard.

The assembly of the device

The structure is to be collaborated with a canopy, an everyday element used constantly for daily activities, in order to establish a direct relationship and exposure to the residents and guests of Valldaura, enriching their experience on the education centre for self efficiency.
