The Project started from the point which caught my interest which is within the complexity of the dense rain forest there is an holistic harmonious symbiotic relationship between different species of flora and fauna . There was an order within state of complexity at different levels tied together by the same golden thread . The golden thread here is the factor light . I was amazed to note the adaptation of species on the lower level of hierarchy to the light leaks . The species such as Epiphytes evolved their growth pattern to light leak areas and location of support . This thesis is based on system which is neither TOP-DOWN nor BOTTOM PROCESS but the combination of both.
The Fulcrum of the project is to trace balance between both process , experimental models were created and checked against the logics of light behavior. Growth here complements to growth of spaces in architectural context and with dense light fabric entwining with it to ensure the same. To emphasize individuality in uniformity of lighting levels in different spaces , the light fabric was parameterized to small components with basic attributes. The control of the whole system can be done from micro to macro level therby ensuring communication across different hierarchies within the system .
