Before giving his lecture last Tuesday 26th, Nicholas Negroponte visited IaaC. During the tour around the Institute’s facilities, Mr. Negroponte had the opportunity to watch the student’s projects and talk with them about their work.
In his lecture titled ‘Ending Poverty in 10 Years’, Mr. Negroponte talked about how technology can help developing countries fight against poverty by teaching kids means to educate themselves. ”If you can learn to read, you can read to learn”.
