RS2 trip goes infrastructural. NYC High Line.

RS2 at Dillier&Scofidio’s high-line intervention, Neil Denari’s mini-tower at background.

RS2 continues at NYC visiting the new developments of the High Line intervention by Dillier&Scofidio. The reactivation of the old railway infrastructure changed completely West district. Housing buildings of Neil Denari, Jean Nouvel or Frank Ghery add density to this new hybrid public space. After a quick walk through Times Square, night visit finished at Harlem elevated train stations.

RS2_Arrives in the Big Apple, the 3rd research trip has begun.

First days of the research trip were focused on the academic and professional scene of  New York City. At Columbia University RS2 Self-Sufficient Buildings Group visited the Philip’s Anzalome FabLab and David Benjamin’s Living Lab. A contradictory visit followed at the low-tech hand–craft fabrication workshops of the Cooper Union.

RS3 Research Trip continues with more visits and presentations!

Rs3 in front of La Defence Offices from, UN studio at Almere, Netherlands

RS3 group continues their intensive research trip in Holland and Belgium. Some of their stops included the La defence Offices Building by UN studio and Groninger Museum. RS3 visited TU Delft and the Hyper-Body research team where they presented some of their work being developed at IAAC and the Digital Tectinics research line.
