Digital Fabrication > Barcelona site milling

Following the Barcelona Zero Emissions project, the MAA students are working on digital modeling and production of a 1:2000 model of the entire Barcelona city. This model is a working prototype for proposals on a Zero emissions city, as well as the base physical model for the development of an interactive interface of Barcelona that will provide and receive information coming from research data based obtained by students on site. MAA students are making night shifts to cover the entire production of the city, mainly fabricated with the CNC Milling machine at the Fab Lab.

Open Thesis Fabrication Presentations to the collaborating companies

The students of the Open Thesis Fabrication presented their projects to some of the collaborating companies (Imar-represented by Patxi Rubin , Escofet - represented by Enric Pericas, KUKA-represented by Oscar Pérez) . The represenatives of the companies at the same time had a conversation with Marta Malé-Alemany about the next steps of  the collaboration of  the Open Thesis Fabrication program and the industries.
